
The Direct-Type Fire Detection Tube Fire Suppression System is a self-contained fire protection device that integrates early fire detection and automatic suppression into a single unit.
The system utilizes a high-sensitivity fire detection tube as both the detection and discharge element. When a localized fire occurs and generates elevated temperature, the detection tube automatically ruptures at the fire source, without the need for electrical power or a control panel, directly releasing the extinguishing agent to achieve rapid and precise local fire suppression.
With its simple structure and fast response, this system is especially suitable for confined spaces, concealed fire risks, unmanned facilities, or applications where conventional fire suppression systems are impractical. It is widely used internationally as a local application fire suppression solution for critical equipment protection.
The system employs HFC‑227ea (heptafluoropropane) as the extinguishing agent. HFC‑227ea is a highly efficient and clean gaseous suppression agent that suppresses fire through a combined physical and chemical inhibition mechanism. Its chemical formula is CF₃CHFCF₃. It is chemically stable, has very low toxicity, leaves no residue after discharge, is non‑conductive, and will not damage sensitive electronic equipment.

The system operates solely based on the direct thermal response of the detection tube, remaining unaffected by power outages or control system failures, ensuring exceptional reliability.

The detection tube ruptures directly at the hottest point of the fire, discharging the agent exactly at the ignition source and preventing unnecessary discharge in unaffected areas.

With a compact configuration, the system can be freely routed around protected objects, making it ideal for confined, enclosed, or geometrically complex spaces.

No complex electrical inspections are required. Routine maintenance is straightforward, resulting in low overall ownership and operating costs.
Under normal conditions, the fire detection tube is either pressurized with gas or functions as the agent discharge conduit, while the extinguishing agent is stored in the agent cylinder.
When a fire occurs in the protected enclosure, localized high temperature acts on the detection tube.
The detection tube softens and ruptures at the point of highest temperature.
The extinguishing agent is discharged directly through the rupture point onto the fire source, achieving rapid cooling, combustion inhibition, and/or oxygen displacement, thereby suppressing the fire.
