3. How It Works

IG-100 operates on the principle of oxygen dilution (physical suppression).

When a fire occurs and the system is activated, IG-100 agent is rapidly discharged into the protected area. It extinguishes the fire by diluting the oxygen concentration in the air, thereby removing one of the essential elements required for combustion. At the design concentration, the atmosphere will not support a flame, but remains safe for occupied spaces for a short period, allowing for safe evacuation.

Crucially: IG-100 is chemically inert and does not interfere with the fire's chemical chain reaction.
