The system uses carbon dioxide (CO₂) as the extinguishing agent. Carbon dioxide fire suppression systems are internationally recognized and are especially effective for extinguishing flammable liquid fires, flammable gas fires, and electrical fires.
The system employs HFC‑227ea (heptafluoropropane) as the extinguishing agent. HFC‑227ea is a highly efficient and clean gaseous suppression agent that suppresses fire through a combined physical and chemical inhibition mechanism. Its chemical formula is CF₃CHFCF₃. It is chemically stable, has very low toxicity, leaves no residue after discharge, is non‑conductive, and will not damage sensitive electronic equipment.
The system provides targeted protection against typical machine tool fire hazards such as cutting fluids, lubricating oils, high-temperature cutting processes, and electrical faults, delivering direct and efficient fire suppression.
