3. Operating Principle

  1. Under normal conditions, the steel fire shutter is parked at one side (or both sides) of the opening, and the water-mist system remains on standby.

  2. When a fire occurs, the fire alarm system sends an activation signal to the shutter control panel.

  3. The drive system is activated, and the shutter travels horizontally along the guide rails to progressively close the opening.

  4. Simultaneously, the water-mist system is activated, forming a continuous water-mist layer on the curtain surface to cool and protect the shutter.

  5. After full closure, the shutter and water-mist system together form a high-performance fire, smoke, and thermal barrier.
